Exploring Customer Service Telework

Customer service telework takes a job with which we're all pretty familiar and places it in a virtual environment. Working from home, employees or contractors undertake tasks pertaining to product support and consumer satisfaction.

By homesourcing customer service work, companies are able to tap into to a sizable pool of potential employees/contracted workers. Because the available workforce is so large, companies may be more able to pick those individuals they feel are best qualified.

Due to companies' freedom of choice in selecting employees, those with previous customer service and call center experience stand better chances of being hired. That is not to say that those without prior experience can't be hired. They may, however, have to search harder for work.

Compensation for these jobs is often around eight dollars an hour. Those with more experience, of course, are at a greater advantage for landing higher paying positions. Other companies may pay per call handled.

There are a lot of companies who will pay for the training of their employees. There are, though, a few agencies who require work-at-homers to pay for their own training. But because employees pay for their own training – saving companies money – the hourly wages may be higher on the average.

Below is a list of companies who hire either employees or contractors for customer service telework.

Customer Service Teleworking Opportunities

Alpine Access Inbound Call Center
Alpine Access is a service-focused company which prides itself on both efficiency and quality. Alpine hires employees rather than contractors and offers employee benefits. There are no application fees, and training is at the cost of the company. Apline's selectivity and belief in hiring the best in employee selection is seen in their only hiring an estimated 2%-3% of applicants.

Cloud 10 Corporation
A company that relies on at-home workers to take orders, cancel accounts, provide information to customers, and record the details for arisen problems. Cloud 10 considers its telecommuting force as employees, and there are no application costs. Employees are asked to devote a minimal 20 hours to work a week or more.

LiveOps
A company striving towards the maintenance of a flexible and scalable workforce. Telecommuters working for LiveOps are independent contractors.

Working Solutions
Working Solutions pays independent contractors to carry out call center duties such as: enrollments, order processing, support, and customer service. There are no fees associated with becoming a Working Solutions agent.

Additional companies will be added as found. WAH-Scam-Avoidance will do the best to provide only legitimate opportunities and keep the scams out.

If anyone has information pertaining to either these or other telecommuting jobs, please feel free to submit it via the contact us page. Thanks and enjoy working from home.
